Background:
RallyData.com was created to meet several specific needs of the regional Performance Rally community, without cost to the users.

• We host the results for those events that utilize our scoring system, widely used for regional events in California, Arizona and Nevada. In addition to “Near Real Time” scores posted on RallyData.com during events, we maintain an archive of results from previous events. • We host Live Text, which strives to report what's happening during the event shortly after it occurs. This is done via one or more reporters who are located in the field. To see an example of Live Text you can go to the 2011 Prescott Rally Live Text

• We host the rally volunteer sign-up system that is widely used by rally organizers to manage their volunteer resources effectively. The volunteer system has provisions for sending group emails and providing document downloads as well as offering team building tools.

• We host the membership sign-up for the California Rally Series, providing membership management and group email capability.

• We host online registration for those rallies that choose to make use of it. This system provides the organizer with all the tools necessary to manage event entries including a dynamically built entry list that updates automatically, sorted by speed factor and vehicle class.

Sponsorship Opportunities:
RallyData.com offers four areas for sponsorship: Rally Scoring/Results, Live Text, Volunteer Sign-Up and Competitor Use Areas. Each of these options is detailed below.

Rally Scoring / Results:
The Rally Scoring and Results area is where the “Near Real Time” rally results are posted, stage by stage. This area is viewed by competitors, friends, families and other rally enthusiasts to see how the rally competition is unfolding. These pages are also viewable later via the Archives Page.

Full sponsorship of this area costs $800 per year and will include the sponsor’s link on the RallyData Home page as well as links on the Archives Page and this year's event results pages (all 2011 results). Half sponsorship costs $400 per year and splits the space between two sponsors. One half sponsorship is currently taken by the Prescott Rally, leaving one half sponsorship available. The Archives Page and the individual events’ results pages will have a header (at the top) saying “Rally Scores Brought to You by Sponsor’s Name” (with a link to the sponsor’s site). The link at the top of individual event results pages is unique in that it will stay there from year to year even if this sponsorship option is not renewed. Anytime someone views archived results from a year that you sponsored the Scoring / Results, they will see your link at the top.

Single Event Scoring / Results Sponsorship: If Rally Scoring / Results is not fully sponsored, individual events can be sponsored for $100 per event. This option includes a link on the events’ results pages ( in the header at the top) saying “Rally Scores Brought to You by Sponsor’s Name” (with a link to the sponsor’s site). The link at the top of event results pages is unique in that it will stay there from year to year even if this sponsorship option is not renewed. Anytime someone views archived results from an event that you sponsored the Scoring / Results, they will see your link at the top.

Live Text:
Live Text is viewed by the fans, family and friends of many of the performance rallies in California, Arizona, Nevada and Idaho.

Sponsorship of this area costs $600 per year and will include the sponsor’s link on the RallyData Home page as well as links on the Archives Page and this year's event Live Text pages Half sponsorship costs $300 per year and splits the space between two sponsors. The link at the top of individual event Live Text pages is unique in that it will stay there from year to year even if this sponsorship option is not renewed. Anytime someone views archived results from a year that you sponsored the Live Text, they will see your link at the top.

Volunteer Sign-Up:
The volunteer sign-up area is where almost all volunteers go to register for performance rallies in California, Arizona, Nevada and Idaho (as well as some in Oregon and Washington).

Sponsorship of this area costs $500 per year and will include the sponsor’s link on the RallyData Home page as well as a link at the top of the Volunteer Log-In Page. Half sponsorship costs $250 per year and splits the space between two sponsors.

Competitor Use Areas:
Competitors use RallyData.com for three purposes. First, the CRS sign-up area is where competitors can go to join the California Rally Series. Second, the Event Entry area is where competitors go to enter many of the events in California, Arizona and Nevada. Finally, the Seed Factor list is where they go to view speed factors.

Sponsorship of these three areas costs $400 per year and will include the sponsor’s link on the RallyData Home page as well as a link at the top of the CRS Log-In Page, the Event Entry Log-In Page and the Speed Factor page. Half sponsorship costs $200 per year and splits the space between two sponsors.
